Untitled is a hilarious movie about the contemporary art scene of New York. It stars Adam Goldberg and is directed by Jonathan Parker, who is the writer, director, producer and composer of Bartleby.

The movie tells the story of “a fashionable contemporary art gallerist in Chelsea, New York, who  falls for a brooding new music composer in this comic take on the state of contemporary art”

Recall the time you were in a museum looking at paintings and works of art. As you walk across the area, looking around at some paintings you recognize, nodding your head in approval. As you continue your walk, you stumble across a piece that grabs your attention. You furrow your brow, bend forward and just stare. “Is this art? Why is this art?”
Your brain tries to process this, but it leaves you utterly baffled. Can that really be art?
That’s what we are greeted to when Untitled‘s first scene unfolds. The movie is a hilarious take on the absurdity of life and art focused on the art gallery scene. Adrian Jacobs (Adam Goldberg) is staring at a new piece made by his brother Josh Jacobs (Eion Bailey) trying to find the art of it. Adrian is a modern avant-garde composer whereas Josh is a painter whose vanilla color schemes attract a large commercial following with hotels and offices.
