UK's hidden gem - Gloucester

UK's hidden gem - Gloucester
Gloucester (Listeni/ˈɡlɒstər/ GLOS-tər) is a city, district and county town of Gloucestershire in the South West region of England. Gloucester lies close to the Welsh border, and on the River Severn, approximately 32 miles (51 km) north-east of Bristol, and 45 miles (72 km) south-southwest of Birmingham.[wikipedia]

Gloucester’s quite rural location means that it didn't have the same calibre of notable worthies in centuries past and today, but basically it is a very amazing town with unique style of architecture and culture with the wonderful history woven into its fabric.
Sadly, in the case of the city, this wonderful rich Gloucester history is not well presented and advertised.
